It is very sad to hear that about 36 miners have been killed and more than 78 miners are injured by the South African police when they fired on a mob of thousands who were gathered in support of their demand for hike in their salary. The miners of Lonmin platinum mine of Makrana were demanding three-fold rise in their salary.
This incident reminds the era of apartheid in the South Africa.
How long we have to wait so that a single drop of blood will not be shed by the rulers using brutal force?
Let the soul of all dead miners be rest in peace and the kith and kin of the deceased be compensated suitably by the Govt. of South Africa.
