Poverty is a curse of the human civilisation. To eradicate it, everybody should try to earn more and more. Universal education is essential if we want to achieve this objective. The condition of the people of the under-developed country beyond the description. Some of the countries, arrange help from the public exchequer for the people who belong to under the poverty line. Hence all of us should work in tandem to wipe out proverty from the earth. It is one of the tasks of the scientists and other educated persons.
Poverty is the root cause of hardship to the people in world over and it degrades the rate of overall progress of a country. It is absolutely a curse for every society. Poverty can be badly observed through malnutrition, unhygienic drinking water, lack of clothing etc.
ReplyDeleteGlobally India ranks third in regard to population of poor. This means that a third of the global poor now reside in India. Though we have set us free from the British shackles for over 60 years yet the basic literacy for the majority has been neglected. In turn world class education institutions have been established for the elite. To alleviate poverty till date India has given little stress on education rather in reservation of seats in government jobs. The economically weaker sections of society are still to receive grants from government etc.
To alleviate poverty globally, the World Bank including other premier banks, developed and developing countries and affluent people should come forward jointly with a more determined pledge to provide subsidized food and other necessities, increased access to loans, improved agricultural techniques viable with the climate of a particular region and price supports and promoting education and family planning for the poor people reside in all over the world.
