POVERTY, POPULATION AND PEACE

Population increase is a great problem being faced by the humankind at present. Rapid growth of population especially in the third world countries is a big concern and to addressed adequately to contain it. Since the resources of these countries are not sufficent, poverty is seen uncontrolled and in true sense a curse of the mankind. All efforts of the world community are becoming futile. Hence, violence is being happend frequently. Terroism is the bad face of poverty and a result of the steep increase in population. Therefore all of us should try to use our good efforts to extend our coopertion to the under and undeveloped countries as well as find new ways to bring world peace. Peace should not be made pieces but to survive all human beings shall try to achieve it at any cost.

  1. I am in full consensus with the view expressed in regard to the captioned subject, Sir. It is an welcoming thought that poverty is the root cause of all our misfortunes. Poverty is the cause for concern for the underdeveloped and developing countries like ours. As poverty cannot even provide a square meal, we cannot think for education. The country like India is still suffering from the shackles of poverty. Without education it is impossible to convince people about the usefulness of less population rather minimization of birth rate. As poverty bring illiteracy, illiteracy brings less income or hardships to people. This hardship makes people revengeful and thus with it comes the terrorism to fulfill needs of people. And the ultimate result of it is nothing but stymie in every walks of life. Soumen Paul
