CWG : A shame for India

The pathetic and miserable conditions of organising the prestigious Common Wealth Games turned to be a great shame for the nation due to inept handling of the affairs. It is Suresh Kalmadi who should be blamed for all these since he was on the helm of the affairs. On the other hand the Indian govt. was to be more alert and active to make the events perfect. However we are now to wait till the end of the games whether there are more things to happen. Let the God save the game.

A TRIBUTE

Today I was so perturbed after seeing the pictures of the train accident that took place near Jharkhand in West Bengal. It is estimated that nearly 120 people including childrens have lost their life. Somebody is saying that it has been masterminded by the Naxals so called Maoist, where others are saying that it is the conspiracy against the Trinamul Congress. It is mere coincidence that the incident happened ahead of the Municipal Elections in Kolkata and other parts of the West Bengal.

Whatever it may be, ultimately a no. of common people have lost their life without any of their fault. It proves again that common people are the pawn in the hand of the politicians.

May God rests their soul in peace.

Strike strikes the poor

Today a 12 hour hartal was called by the 13 political parties including the 4 Left parties. The hartal receives the mixed response through out India, although in West Bengal, Tripura and Kerala it is almost suucessful. Though the political parties may consider it as their victory and success but common people suffer most it is an admitted fact. As reported by the media, West Bengal alone lose about 500 crore of rupees for the irresponsible decision of the political bosses. At this moment WB needs to build infrastucture, to improve healthcare facilities and to take up the gurguntuan tasks to reach the education to all the people of the state through creating a huge infrastructure; therfore, it is not Hartal, actually WB requires work, work and more work.

Poverty - A Curse of Mankind

Poverty is the worst enemy of the mankind. It is the defeat of the human beings that we could not wipe out this menace from the countries in spite of the huge development in the field of Science & Technology. In India almost one-third of the population are either very poor or so called lower middle class who live in a hand to mouth condition. About Seventy percent of people earn  only a meagre money equals to Rs. 20/-. So everybody of us should be more frugal and should think of the people who are on the other side of the development. All educated and concious people should be more sensitive and shall try to minister the needs of the poors who live every where of india as well as outside of it. We should consider to donate a part of our income for the benifits of these sons of the God.

TIGER

It is said that there are only 1400 tigers exist in India. For a very very long time men are killing the tigers for various reasons not knowing that such acts are pushing them in danger. In the past, kings and other feudal lords hunted this beautiful animal at their will. In China, the bones of it are considered to be used as medicine.
In India, the famous royal bengal tiger of the Sundarbans, a world heritage, is also on extinction. People should realise that destroying the nature's gift, we only invite our ruins.

Our future lies on the suvival of them, it must be admitted.

STRESS: A SILENT KILLER

Now a days, stress is being considered as one of the principal causes
for the various problems - physical and mental disorder of the
people.Modern day life has become so hectic and stressful that the
beauty of life is lost. Men have researched extensively to know it and
to develop some techniques to overcome it. Sometimes, it seems that
the remedy lies with the spiritual practices and within the nature. So
we should not destruct the nature and should stop to pollute the
environment. As we grab more and more gadgets, money and wealth with
the help modern science, we go away and away in acquiring happiness.
Are we happy? Are we better than our ancestors? Perhaps we are not
confident in our answer to such questions.
